In 2006 BD Nuclear Ltd was established as a separate Company and in 2007 Dave took the Company another step forward and moved into new premises.
During 2008 the business focused on a major project at Dounreay which provided 12 months' work for the company. This was followed by a busy spell at Bradwell before returning to Winfrith in 2010.
Throughout these early years the business undertook smaller tasks across many of the UK Nuclear Sites and steadily built its reputation and client base.
Late 2011 work started on a significant project at Trawsfynydd which remains ongoing and this has nurtured further growth.
In early 2013 the company acquired new premises close to the current main office. The premises are now being utilised as a demonstration facility to help promote the companies offerings and to train staff and trial new equipment and operations.
Most recently, having relinquished his interest and involvement in Baker Dougan Ltd, Dave decided to expand BD Nuclear Ltd as a new conventional division to primarily operate throughout the South of England.
The business has matured, developed and its client base has grown. The company is now well established across the UK Nuclear Sites and continues to move forward with its development. BD Nuclear can now claim to have a true nuclear pedigree.
